So I've recently been informed i can get a Wacom Cintiq or similar with my college fund money, but I'm heavily conflicted on what kind of setup to look more at for buying.
On one hand, I'm very interested in in the Wacom Cintiq Companion, which is basically a full windows computer and a 13" pen display in one, not to mention it has extremely satisfying hardware inside and is well built by the reviews ive seen.
On the other hand I'm considering a Microsoft Surface Pro together with a 13" normal wacom cintiq display. I know as time goes by computers can go out of date, but art tablets can last for a damn long time, so this option would allow leniency if the surface just didnt put up anymore, not to mention being able to use the cintiq on my home computer. The surface has wacom pen technology built in aswell, its just the screen is so damn small.
Both decisions are pricey but money is not the issue here. I don't know if anyone has had experience with either of these devices but even just a plain ol' bystander's opinion would help
